Serving the Midway with open hands
Every Monday from 12 pm until 2 pm (excluding major holidays), we offer a nutritious meal, fresh produce and bakery items FREE to people in need. Please see our calendar on the 'News and Calendar' tab where we list the main course of our meal (subject to change without notice).
In 2019, 13,028 meals were served through this program.
A second day of meal service is offered on Wednesdays in June and July from 12 pm to 2pm.
In 2019, 1,235 meals were served through this program.
In partnership with Second Harvest Heartland, Lee Ann Chin and Panera Bread we receive the food used to prepare and serve nutritious meals at these meal programs.

A Registered Nurse is on hand during programming hours to provide blood pressure checks and assist guests in any way they can.
We welcome your financial contributions which will assist us in purchasing what is needed for this program in order to provide FREE meals to meet this basic human need.
Produce Distribution is held in late summer and early fall. In partnership with Second Harvest Heartland, we distribute fresh produce FREE of charge to people in need. In 2019, we distributed approximately 33,078 pounds. This is a rain or shine event. Please see the 'News and Calendar' tab for exact dates as that time of the year draws near. Your financial contributions allow us to cover the costs of hosting this event.
Emergency Food Shelf
On Tuesdays, we provide food on an emergency basis to those in need. Food shelf hours are 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Guests should come to the door nearest the northeast corner of the building to receive service. Please see our calendar on the 'Calendar & Events' page of our website for food shelf dates as they vary.
The food distributed is packaged based on the number of people per family. Food shelf guests are allowed one visit per calendar month and must complete an eligibility form once per calendar year. We do not offer delivery service.
